Colombia, war, violence, children
Daddy, that lady is a bad country?
Why do so many fight over it?
Every day, bombs and bullets kill,
in the country almost all live in lawsuit
We fight for the country, says the guerrillas,
defend the homeland, says the Government
help the country, the paramilitary chilla
And among all hell created
Daddy, When I grow up I will give gun?
"Uniform boots and holsters?
To go to war and kill thousands
A blood violence to satisfy their desire
The school has a teacher mad
featuring a rare speech that Jesus
Who taught peace and love strong as the rock
but wicked men nailed to a cross
He said the kingdom of heaven
children of the world belongs
moans at us on the floor:
abused, used, and is sad
Daddy, if I am peaceful I shall see God?
If you break the chain of hatred and revenge
things will get better with studies
I can sing, play, make friends
and see the future with hope.
