To create a monster does not require the digging of graves nor the moulding of genes. It requires only love and hatred split into equal amounts. While not directly related to Frankenstein, this does derive a certain amount of metaphor from it. Enjoy.

I suggest you start running now, never look back.
You’ve acquired a mule with more baggage than you can handle
She won’t let go, you know, you’re in her sights
The predator leaps and you must fight.

I apologise for bringing this upon you, how could I know
That your charm would captivate her so.
She was mine, you know, and jealousy does throb
But the predator is to be feared and for your safety I sob.
Friend, tell me this: Are you even aware?
Of the heartbreak, solemn despair? Are you blissfully oblivious?
She’ll kill you, you know, or at least take herself
Beyond the brink. The predator is a risk to health.
Beware of your pretty young thing, too, she’s in the way
The lion roars and mauls all between her and prey.
You should be running now, you know, run, for your safety and for hers
I set loose the beast upon you, an unintended curse.
Love me, beast, hurt not those who are loved back
I’d gladly give my life to set yours back on track
Lay a finger on either, you know, I will not rest
Until you lie severed, in earth, at your final best.
Fear her, fear her, fear her, fear her,
She is the monster and I her creator,
I loved her, you know, and you took the bullet for me
Now over your grave I can only gently weep.
