Where did she go?  I'm sure I don't

know when, where or why.

Was it last week, last month or

was it last July.

She always thought of others

and would call or send a card.

And she enjoyed the simplier things,

like just working in the yard.

Troubles or worry never found a place

in her happy, carefree life.

And nothing was more important

than being a mother and a wife.

Even her friends seem somehow

distant now when we meet.

And the flowers in her garden don't

smell quite as sweet.

Lord, what happened to that someone

everyone once knew to be.

A gentle, loving woman everyone

used to know as ME!

Wow- this is an amazing poem.
I hope it is part of a healing journey. We all need to take them, more than we know.
It is the journey to finding we are OK.
Blessings,

John
