CAPTURE THE WIND

Capture the wind with the sails of your heart,

And fly to the destiny that is you!

Feel the beats of life, like drums upon your soul

Urging you to go higher

And higher still,

Until you can no longer see where it is that you came from. . .

Make your descent into a place that has been there all the time,

But you just never knew it. . .

The place inside yourself that cries to be allowed

To live. . .

Grab your new life and run with it!

Run among the lillies of the field,

Smelling the lucious scent,

Feeling the blooms caress your shoulder

As they leave their mark of beauty on your soul. . .

Reach out and grab the stars that glow brightly

And are yours for the taking. . .

Fulfilling every desire that has now awakened

From a deep, deadened sleep. . .

Enjoy the ride, basking in the warmth

Of the sights and sounds of a life fulfilled. . .

Life that has always been there,

But for the captor. . .
