Nightmare

A good friend of mine inspired me on this song.

A little girl laid on her bed. Tears soaking from her eyes. She could hear her parents fighting. With the yelling, the slamming, and the hitting. Oh she didn't know what to do. But from that moment on, she took a vowe to herself, that she would never let that happen when she was married and had a couple kids.

She had a dream. She was married with some kids. She broke that promise that she vowed. Her and her husband were a fighting, and hitting. But this was only a horrible nightmare. She would pray to God each night, that this bad dream would never come true .

Several years later, after the tears and fears she had felt, she was one day away from her wedding. She was nervous and scared all at the same time. She had also found out she was two weeks late.

She had a dream. She was married with some kids. She broke that promise that she vowed. Her and her husband were a fighting, and hitting. But this was only a horrible nightmare. She would pray to God each night, that this bad dream would never come true .

On her wedding day, she was happy. She told her husband about her being two weeks late. Then she told him about her nightmare. Then she thought about her parents, and what happened to them. Then her husband said.

That nightmare you had wasn't real. I would never hurt you that way. When I say my vows, I'm going to love you forever. I love you more now since we got us our own child on the way. This is real life and that nightmare was a fantasy.
