RUNNING I’m me now Going forward The wind On my face Each stride Deliciously mine Rhythmic Reassuring Heart pumping Muscles bulging Adrenalin surging Power flowing Mind focussed Transcending Mortal problems Forgotten behind Spirit soaring Feet flying Sweat pouring Pain ignoring I’m me now No-one else
