Simple, sweet and to the point

Simple, sweet and to the point

The words I say but

I can never comprehend

The meaning of your ways

You confuse my mind

With complicated thoughts

You trick my heart and

Make me cry

You create jagged edges in my soul

With knives of fear

The darkness will never find light

The music will never find a beat

And the world will not continue to spin

Until the day you say you love me again
