When that fiddle plays it adds a special touch; there's no doubt about about it, we've got it under our clutch.

He's got a radio in every room;

that old-time country, sweet as her perfume.

His sweetheart is behind his country music style;

this song became reality, so extremely worthwhile.

One day he's gonna attend the Grand Ole Opry;

maybe hear this song, maybe move to Tennessee.

He's gonna find a singer to sing this song;

folks will even want to sing right along.

After this one he'll even try a little gospel;

ever since the cradle, music made him marvel.

He never misses the Way-back Wednesday show;

country was country then, not just a shadow.

He enjoys Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and Reba too;

this song's gonna sing with some old-time country value.

The banjo's strummin' so rosin up that bow;

now we've got some real foot-stompin' tempo.

When that fiddle plays it adds a special touch;

there's no doubt about it, we've got it under our clutch.

He's got a radio in every room;

that old-time country, it's about to bloom.

Even New York's got a country music station;

so many great artists, what a sensation.
