Longing for a love that was lost through time. Did we meet in another space in time. Longing to once more touch once more.

I have loved you for a thousand years,

My tears tell me so,

As the yearning grows deep,

Within this fragile heart,

I dream that we fly deep into the night.

We rest on a mountain top,

And view the world below.

We vow to always be together.

Only in this dream, we share a tender kiss.

Unsure if we have met on this earthly shore or heavens home,

I only know I have loved you for a thousand years.

I feel you deep within this heart of glass.

I have smelled the essence of you,

As your spirit lingers over me while I sleep,

Like an angel guarding my very soul,

I feel you, I know you are there, but I can not see you.

You gently glide over me like a light breeze,

That tickles my skin deep in the night.

I long to hold you and feel you in my arms.

One day I will hold you,

Through all eternity,

This time, I will never let you go.

Coming into your presence once more,

Will cause the earth to tremble,

As emotions are released,

That have been held captive for so long.

One day I will look up,

Knowing my angel has come home,

The one,

I have loved a thousand years.
