It's hard to grow up and move on

Take me back to ten years ago,

When nothing was different except for hope

Which filtered through everything we did,

Together as a group with a common goal

To love, laugh and share and dream

That now would never end

It’s over now, this collective living

And we don’t belong to each other anymore;

One by one, something bit us off

And rooted us individually elsewhere,

And also made us forget

But I won’t forget and perhaps that is a curse,

The memory of the feeling weighs on me everyday

Because my soul has been taken

But I will always remember how good it felt

And I will miss it until my dying day

Annabelle

Some of us are much more emotional than others, and sentimental and nostalgic memories have always got to be revisited periodically to make us remember.

I share your pain

Peter
