My poem came to my mind while I was lying on the couch with my boxer Ukko. It speaks of how his love overshadows his wrong-doings. |
|
O! Ukko boy, my little joy,
Listen to me now please.
You bite me when I'm on the telephone.
You ask for peanut butter and a bone.
Some peace and quiet if you please! I'll even give you cheese!
So soft and warm, I can't say no,
When in those eyes I see,
A boy who loves me unconditionally,
A brave companion where I am or flee.
O! Ukko boy my little joy! Please stay and sleep with me!

I'm sure that he's a joy. However, your relationship seems a bit unnatural.

| Hah! They are absolutely wonderful companions. True-blue. Protective. And will steal your soul asking for a peanut and butter sandwich. |

A delightful sharing, Timothy; Ukko is lucky to have you and vice versa obviously. Love and peace,

(Let it be known that this is my son, Timothy Gerard Popely who is writing here.) After the devastating loss of your prior boxer, Ziggy Stardust, I was so relieved that you caught his spirit by snagging this pup, Ukko! His spirit lives on! Curious how the meter of this poem resembles that of Finland's national anthem,
"Maaemaa" (did I spell that correctly?) I'm saying it correctly.
Love ya!
