Packing the Bad Away

This is another poem from my work-in-progress, Rainbow of Hope.

Sometimes the world seems like it weeps,

For all those who are hurt and beat,

And all the news you read and see,

Tells of the killing and the greed.

The people that you work with too,

Go round with frowns, they look so blue,

And friends and family have such frets,

That they seem never to forget.

It’s seems the bad can just invade,

Your every pore while you’re awake,

And even come in dark of night,

To wake you up all filled with fright.

When all this comes to your front door,

You have to look inside your core,

Remembering whose child you are,

And shake off all of evil’s harm.

No matter what the devil throws,

Into your path, just let it go.

Then throw him back your brightest smile,

Because the bad can’t hurt His child.

Take all the remnants of the bad,

The hurt, the pain, what makes you sad,

And lift your lid of hope that day,

Take all the bad, pack it away.

When you get through, just seal it up,

So it can’t crawl outside the box,

And go to help those whom you know

To pack the bad and keep it stowed.

Life here’s too short to live it in

Anger, sorrow, terror, sin,

Change your life for good today.

Take the bad, pack it away.

Anger can be controlled by me, sorrow is still to be with me grieving my hubby since Aug 07, terror I have of things happening in this world, and sin I know God forgives me for my sins.

OMG Bobbye, this is so true. Yet my soul is torn by those that have and continue to destroy me simply because of my generous soul. My Father in Heaven is watching out for me, I know, and I do believe He will protect from the devil's charm. A wicked charm at best, but it still cannot invade my soul, for I am my Father's child, and I will forever remain in His debt, as He has answered my prayers, through His Son Jesus. OMG Bobbye, this poem seems to talk to me, because of all that has happened to me in my lifetime, because of who I am and have always been. This is a very good write, worthy of publication in your Rainbow Of Hope book. Let me know when it is published, I would like to buy it. This is such a beautiful poem of sage advice to all those who are degraded, lost, sad, terrified, abandoned and lonely. Thnx for sharing Bobbye. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, stubborn and determined to a fault, joy to the world, peace on earth, & (((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS))))))))), your very sad, very terrified, abandoned, and disowned little den sister in Christ our Lord, Barbie

MERRY CHRISTMAS BOBBYE, TO YOU AND YOURS, AND A VERY PROSPEROUS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR, TOO.
