A River

I am a river, vast and deep,
flowing endlessly.

Enter, my Love.
Let my soothing waters caress your naked flesh,
and refresh your senses.

Enjoy the splendor of my gentle waves,
as you awaken my still waters.

Aw yes, taste me Baby, drink from me.
Let my sweet waters nourish your soul,
and arouse your senses.

Your presence has stirred up a strong current
within me, a current of Love.

Come, my Love, embrace me.
Let yourself get caught in my current,
as it swirls faster and faster.

I feel you tremble as I pull you
deep inside, engulfing your being.

Plunge and thrust within me, Darling.
Let yourself ride my raging torrent,
now completely out of control.

I am your breath and you are mine,
as we spin through this unyielding force.

We shall surge together, Baby.
Let us orbit in unison with the flow,
as our waters merge.

We are a river, strong and deep,
flowing endlessly.

Alright Cynthia, first I find that Tom does this kind of passionate powerful poem and I have to start taking cold showers because of him, but he stopped of late, so no more forced showers...but now I got you, and cold showers I am going to have to take again...geez I just can't win, LOL! But at least I am clean...Hope to see much more from you, and congratulations or condolances on being Toms fiance', whichever works for you...LOL!? Peace is the ONLY way, Ed & Rufuz

Cynthia, this is an extremely sensual and stimulating well-penned composition, my love. Although I have had the privilege to read and savor this magnificent piece for quite some time, it is absolutely wonderful that you have finally chosen to share it with the world to enjoy too. Your poetic talent is clearly evident, and as I have said many times before, you should post more of your work. I am really happy for you, and I am also quite sure everyone else will agree, that you should join and become a regular here at the Den. You are a natural Poet. I know you work long hours, and take the time at the end off the day to unwind while you read a lot of the other talented Authors and Poets here at the Den. I’m sure they’d agree and understand that you can only do so much in one day but would still encourage and welcome you with open arms. You know I would have posted this for you, and attached the picture you originally picked out for it. But since you used this one (which is very good too), now I can use the one I have sitting around collecting dust… lol. This is excellent work, my love. Thanks for sharing it. Do be well and please Honey, next time take out the dog so I could have stayed sound asleep… lol. I have another very busy day tomorrow… lol. Only kidding. Good-night. See you in my dreams.

I love you,
