Sometimes sadly, loving relationships just never do materialize into LASTING know, "rolling stones"!

                              The Butterfly

While sitting by a window, all alone, and feeling blue,

A gorgeous monarch butterfly came dancing into view.

He drifted almost aimlessly, as monarchs often do,

And as I watched him wander, it reminded me of you!

For many years you’ve wandered in the monarch’s easy way,

And always chose, as he, to only visit, never stay!

And now, just as the butterfly I saw that lonely day,

I’ve learned to cherish fleeting things, and love them, while I may.
