Flow like a River

New love which flows is always exciting, satisfying and inspiring. |

my love for you flows like a river
intermingling energies from our bodies and minds
we become a poem about flow like a river
separate yet together, we glide through the red earthern river
watching golden sun reflect off deep violet and blue running water we flow
we move as one, with the grace of a nod or a word
move safely from one activity to the next
parts of the same clock; two hands tick,
you play the big hand; I am the little
we switch gears so I am big and you are little
How did we do that in the wink of a eye
Refreshing like a cool breeze at sunset on a warm day
comfortable like a hot blast from a furnace
when we return to a warm inn at sunset
after a rigid freezing day outdoors
we return to reality; I am me and you are you
we are not separate pieces of reality
nor are we separate pieces of each other
though each coming together makes reality less clear

| Hello Joy, I read your poem,"Flow like a River". I found it so full of great imagery one could actually see the river you speak of. Well done. Please feel free to visit my site here in the "Den" |

| Ah yes, don't you love that coming together into oneness aspect of a relationship? You describe it so well. I particularly enjoyed the two hands of the clock analogy of this open, easy flowing piece. Well done. |
