There Is No Magic Pill

There is no magic pill
For happiness
No easy trip up life’s hill
There is no completeness .

Life just continues on
Day after day
Even when we’re gone
No matter what they say.

People come and go
Trees live and die
Travelling to and fro
Like comets in the sky.

Flashing bright at night
Dazzling in the sky
Then fade out of sight
As they say goodbye.

We only control our light
As we travel through
Some make it shine so bright
And how we love them so.

We remember them in books
And legends that are told
Casting envious looks
On lives that were so bold.

There is no magic pill
For happiness
Only your on will
Only your own brightness.

Let your light shine
With all of your might
Happiness so fine
A life shinning bright.
