A short poem of a girl's innocence lost.

The Little Girl

There was once a little girl

so innocent and pure

A little girl with a gleam in her eye

and a smile that did shine.

She looked up to everyone

they could never do no wrong.

Then one day, this Little Girl

was violated so;

The hurt and pain inside of her

was just too much to show.

She locked herself up inside

not letting no one in.

Shutting all her feelings out

not knowing what had been.

Unpardon me but I relent it boldly;
For it is far ahead, if I can be sure of it,
And far it is, that my hallucination be valid,
And hallucination it is, as it should be,
And however, unlike itself, mysterious, unknown, and untested,
So it be foreseen in my tireless search.

So tragic and very, very, sad. That such an evil should still be happening in our so-called "evolved" state says a great deal about the human race. Thank you, Heather. Love, peace, and strength to you,

Regis
