When the sun goes down the Dark lord rules, beware being caught in the dark for he carried those caught deep into the bowels of Mother earth for tormentment for all time...

I sit and look at photographs

love and separation (temporary)

I sit and look at photographs
And say I love you so
A thousand miles between our laughs
Still they travel to and fro

-

I see you now, you’re really close
Hand in hand we walk.
Through the pleasant countryside,
Neither seems to talk.

A smile breaks through, laughs ensue
The mirth comes from our heart
It is very plain we two
Should never be apart.

So take my love to keep you warm,
Safe in the days ahead
And I’ll keep yours to ward off harm
While I cherish the things you’ve said.

And I sit and look at photographs
and say I love you so.

This is what I often do also to remember the past and present of sweet memories of my children growing up and never of a past not real relationship.
