A Mother's Love

by Jennifer LB Leese

You can see it in her eyes--
in her gaze and in her sighs.

It is a mother's love.

You can feel it in her touch--

in her tender hugs and such.

It is a mother's love.

You can hear it in her words--

in her praises and bywords

It is a mother's love.

She cares. She understands.
She lends an ear and holds our hands.
She gives us a mother's love.
