Melting in Eternity

This is about a moment in life- a blink in Time

Amid a desert

Flaunting a pen

Walks a poet

Without a cap

A poem hangs

Far above, beyond

Words come and go

Words for the desert sand

They slowly atomize

On and above the sand

Song becomes whisper

Poem melts in heat

There is no cap to a poet’s pen

No cap on the poet’s head

No cap on flow of thought

In desert- or on a sea shore

No paper

Or computer

Thoughts alone

Melt in Eternity
