Utter Nonsense

Feeling silly

Fifteen sheep and a big fat rat
All ran away from a small skinny cat

They jumped over logs
They jumped over trees
They tripped over hogs
They skinned up their knees.

A silly old mouse
with his nose in the air
bit into a fig
and a peach and a pear

Nine turtles went crawling
Across the back lawn
A pengin, a duck,
A chick and a fawn

All stood 'round and hollared
And loud they did sing.
While little miss Mary
Her toys she did fling.

Too bad it all ended
We had quite a blast
The day that Miss Elrond
Brought Brownies to class!

I really enjoyed this! Delightful for Kindergarten and/or first grade story-telling, but with broad-range appeal to anyone with a little 'child' left in their heart... What fun it would be to illustrate the images you've provided!
