Self-defense is my right. Right?

Stone Me You "Saints"
...And rejoice in my pain
I tell you truth
But you believe lies
Stone me you "saints"
When heaven calls
I'll be free from you
Aren't you glad
You are a "saint?"
But before you throw your stone,
Open you eyes
Or stay a fool
Cast your stones
And click "private!"
You already
Claim me "guilty"
So stone me
YOU SAINTS!
& I'll pray for you
...& your child too
Inspired by a video about a rape victim in Iran~

This poem is worthy of much more than a single reading; these are truthful sentiments. Thank you, Fania. Love and peace to you,

power here in words
the world with their closed, cut-off views and laws
it is mind boggling
a voice that stands up
thanks for sharing!!! |

I always have something to say, ALWAYS. but I am just sitting here reading this over and thinking about the pain that woman felt. As if the act was not enough she then is condemnedfor being a victim. Very powerfully written piece.
