My life was changed by poetry

Poetry saved my life one day the father gave me a song and in my spirit I would always hear it and have to sing along and find my way home to him.
Poetry to me was the cleansing and my father was the balm and now I have a song worth sing the melodies in my life he keeps bringing.
He sent to me a clan who could understand the master's plan and we could read it. Lifes' hieroglyphics, signs and signals that would otherwise go unnoticed he helped us hold it down us poets. And everyone around was blessed by the blessings that we received and wow it was a blessed thing.
Poetry cleanses my spirit and I hope that you all can hear it in each and every presentation and every occasion of celebration.
It has been five years to date and I have been ridding my heart of hate and discontent. Poetry saved my life one day and the depression and the pain was washed away the day that I began to write and recite to you all.
I have a song full of melodies burning inside of me and no I don't sing but sometimes I think I can and man. Poetry creeps into my dreams and your faces I see and its cool, nobody's acting a fool love and peace is upon you. I have shared with you times when I have been blue and also when I have felt orange right now I'm feeling orange again but blue sometimes. Poetry saved my life one day.
