I once met a man who was the love of my life,
He did me the honor of making me his wife.
Through thick and thin we road out life's trials,
All of this time on our faces were smiles.
In work or in play, at night or in the day,
Together we knew we'd always stay.
We held hands as we shopped,
Our love never stopped.
Then we both seemed to change,
and our love seemed strange.
With out fuss or fight it seems,
We let go of our dreams.
We let go of our bond,
and then love was gone.
Like a millionaire who doesn't watch his money,
Life can work out so you loose your honey.
So take care of your love song,
Work hard to keep it strong.
You've heard that when it's wrong it's wrong,
I'm here to tell you that when it's gone- it's gone!
UPDATE! even what's lost can be found,
Sometimes we must look around!
Don't call a good love dead
Untill you're sure everythings been said.
Alas! I am so glad!
I tried one more time,
No longer am I sad.
Once more I dropped that dime,
Now love has made me glad!
He too was lonely and hurting,
Now on a new marriage we're working!
