Here is another Poem I wrote.
Note: I'm a very "dark" writer when it comes to theme and essence of the words I use. To be honest I really do not know how to write otherwise. It's something you have to feel within. If you don't feel bright and all sun-shiny you certainly can't write about it, unless of course you are writing about wanting to feel that way.
I personally enjoy the paranormal and the idea of outside evil forces trying to challenge us beyond their own ethereal plane of existence. It's all somewhat fictional and non-fictional to me, as well as thought-provoking and intriguing all at the same-time.
I do believe in the live spirit world, but require case-proof positive of circumstance before jumping to the Paranormal conclusion.
Anyway, I have a lot of poems and songs that deal with the nature of this genre. It was also a very dark time in my life when I wrote these and my self-influence was not allowing the dark times to take over my life, so I was in constant battle within. These poems and songs represent that dark period.
The words are basic and simplistic rhymes, which were written to keep a beat.

Crawling, panicking on all fours,
almost made it to the door.
Flying fast back after me
can't seem to fight it, can't seem to flee.
Grabbing, ripping at my throat,
through the air we did float.
It took me to the ceiling high,
I fought it hard so I wouldn't die.
It snarled with a vicious smile
and giggled like an evil child.
Leathery wings flapping fast,
mouth open gaping vast.
It's breath so terrible, scent so foul,
It's teeth sharp and face a scowl.
It's skin hardened uneven scales,
it's claws sharp, like iron nails.
It held me up close and tight,
what a terrible hellish sight.
Just when I thought I'm at my end,
it touched me softly on my head.
It then released me to the ground
and made a slurping sickening sound.
From it's mouth it did spit
saying "TAG! Now you're it".
