I know what it means to me, but I'd like to know how this poem speaks to you.
Love and be very cruel to someone who loves with their whole heart.

Beyond the light, moonlight shines
Holding the world in perfect surrender
As one heart breaks and repairs itself
The moonlight giving sway to the waves
Calls forth the ever tide of emotion
The heart now aching from salt sore wounds, repairs itself again
Not wanting to yield to anything of nature or supernatural
The person carrying the heart becomes weak
Yet, the heart does not bow to the person that holds it
It wishes the be held by another who has forsaken it
With the moonlights help, the heart whispers dreams
These dreams are cruel and torment the soul
Though, the heart won't let the person forget
Light wishes to hold the person in it's warmth
While the moonlight holds the heart in colder light
The soul is neutral for now, not wanting either to win
However, if the heart does not compromise
The person will only be a hollow shell
For the soul will side with the heart in time.(c)
