Alone in my room
I sat on a chair
The light lit me,
fell where I was,
creating a moment.
My mind touched
silence within,
Rethinking sounds
and time called life.
I saw images paused
in past joys' shadow,
In wanting memories
my mind refused
to remember.
I grabbed a book
and felt the pages
to my drained
thoughts receding.
Gently, I closed the
book and looked around.
My eyes traced the
the shadow breaking.

An interesting viewpoint of one reflecting back within memories and the pages of time as they as shadows pass and or are broken or revealed within the silence of memory...
nice work.....Art Sun... |
