A rustic cabin in the woods

is the hide-out

for you, my love

for us.

Three words I stole from your heart

"I Love You"

Your bare footprints

left on the porch

you entered my life as a naked nymph

rising out of the pristine waters

as Aphrodite from the foaming sea

laying beside me

giving me your first sweet smile

I smile back at you

overwhelmed by tenderness

I saw the reflection of the fire burning

deep in your brown eyes

we felt complete and satisfied

there is no need tonight

there, is
