Familiar Stanger
Who are you who would look upon my mind?
Whispering the words that make me weep,
Releasing secrets that alone I could not find,
Unacknowledged truths that disturb my sleep.
Who are you who would break my peace?
Opening me up to the hurt within,
Reflect my image with haunting ease,
And solve the riddle of my suffering.
Who are you, my familiar stranger?
To infiltrate my intimacy,
Who are you, most familiar stranger?
Who are you, if not another me?
