i have never forgotten
or ever will
the time we spent together
forged into my brain
and my heart forever
how can i forget
such sweet moments as those
how can one loose
the scent of a beautiful rose

times they may have moved on
year after year
but how can one forget
the others painful tear
when realizing later
that it was a mistake
but that realization
was much too late

life it continues
but back in your mind
you still cling to the memories
of the sweetest kind
and although things have changed
they can never be turned round
you still often wonder
if a miracle could be found

silly little thoughts
they enter your head
you often push them off
until youíre asleep in your bed
and then it seems free
to enter your dreams
thatís where the hearts fire
continues it seems

into a dream state
you always seem to be
iím holding your hand
youíre looking at me
i slowly kiss your sweet lips
and the desire is there
and i tell you how much
i really do care

but alas
as dreams do
they come to an end
i awake to reality
of you as my friend
and as i continue on living
each and every day
often i wonder if there are times
you dream the same way
