This poem is about economic, and if we truly love each other for who we are, rather than what we have.
Taken from the book Faith, Love & Life a collection of poems and songs - The trilogy is now complete

When the lights are turned down love - and the curtain begins to close who'll be by your side.

When the nights are also cold, Will you her the whispers, with stories untold.

and if by chance you should see my dreams - melt befor your eyes, tell me dear lady  -would stick by my side.

if the moon would suddenly disppear and lovers' hearts reacted in fear.  Have faith in me.

And if the sun would suddenly cease to shine - and faces were impossible to find.  - Hear my heart beat.

and if by chance you should see my dreams - melt before your eyes tell me, dear lady, would you stick by my side.

I've said all the things that words can express - but nothing like a heart says it the best - the tenderness of love

The stars that shine n the night have no meaning without your love.  ånd if by chance yo should see my dreams - melt before your eyes

Tell me, dear lady would you stick by my side.

Sometimes they promise they will always "be" there but life and circumstances have a way of changing the course of the best of intentions. Thank you for sharing, Stanley. Love and peace,

I sense a player at work. The song, "If I Were a Carpenter," also comes to mind.
