Philosophy in G Major

For my black belt, I have to write several things, one of which is my "philosophy of life." While brainstorming I came up with this. Different quotes from some of my favorite songs; totally random.
------------------------------------------------------

I don't want to be your other half I believe that one and one make two

can anybody tell me why we're Springer bound

and if you listen really hard the earth she hums when it's dark

it seems that I thrive on the dark side of things, I always feel alive when the death bell rings
but now you come and bring out the tears in me

shake your bon-bon shake your bon-bon shake your bon-bon

So much to do, so much to see, so what's wrong with taking the back streets?
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow

I want to fly away, yeah yeah yeah

how 'bout no longer being masochistic
how 'bout remembering your divinity
how 'bout unabashedly bawling your eyes out
how 'bout not equating death with stopping

and I laughed until my lungs hurt

I want to know right now what will it be

heaven forbid I be criticized
heaven forbid I be ignored

I want to fall in love with you

Oh and it's rising at the back of your mind

You see that I can play a pretty convincing role,
so I don't need you, I don't think I need you

always look on the bright side of life!

I swear by the moon and the stars in the sky, I'll be there

go to hell lions, tigers, and bears I'm not afraid of you anymore
The fear broke apart like fifty balloons and I'm thrown around the room like party confetti

So whatever tomorrow
brings, I'll be there
with open arms and
open eyes.

Megan,
lyrics are the clear water of our soul. Many of my poems are lyrics and I
enjoyed figuring out where these came from.
