Departed Grandmothers
The sterling curtains,
measureless…sweeping…
Blissful the blurry,
golden glow …dreaming…
Silvery white fox, painting abstruse
with time’s sight….
indistinct, those once
harsh lines…
She’s tripping now, across…
dusky, beatific-
life at twilight…
Letting go this work
of breathing...
into a new,
glorious season
