funny or not, a man's a clown
they say this and that but they're not down
changes baby, can you deal with this
when i say not now, its not a diss
u jus gotta know that girls change in mood
and if u cant understand, ur the wrong dude
and im saying this cuz u say you're good and such,
then y are u telling me today that im just too much?
cuz maybe u werent enough from the get go man
and for me to explain this now, and where we stand
is a waste of lipgloss, money and airtime still
jus gimme a call when you fit the bill.
you wink and tease and dream of being brilliant as my lipgloss
cheerful as my sunshine
impactful as mascara
crucial as my eye liner
and iridescent as my nail polish
so i can reflect back to the world beauty as fleeting as the wind
just so you can wake up and say yes,
i am recharged like my treo and ready for a new day

a weepy baby i will not be
gotta bring my style to nyc
so that i can not be the big fish
cuz leaving the pond is my wish
to swim with those more beautiful and swift
so i can use my talents and my gifts
to blot that mark in the world
before life is over like a tired curl

|This could be "sung" as a "rap" song. I appreciate your point of view, Yvonne. Thanks for sharing. Love and best wishes,

|He needs her to... reflect.
We'd better reflect for ourselves.
Love the second stanza.
