The plot builds relentlessly and so well that by the end one does not know whether to laugh or cry..

To my two month old daughter...

Child Of Mine

A breeze in the wind
A thought from within
Insane stops, when rain drops
We all get caught in sin
A brain stops, when a soul is lost
I wasnt taught to give in
They gave life
I made life
She is...a gift to give
Praise to,
I made you
I hope and pray for you
Everyday that Im away,
Know that I wanted to stay with you
The way you,
Look in my eyes
with no facade, no disguise
I am set free
A mother on a grind
In time, you'll see
The night you were born to me
The life I was forced to see
I let go of fear
I held you near
Knowing I just survived a helluva year
You will receive more of me
My all is for you
I must stand tall, when I fall from truth
You're everything I thought I wanted
You're more than a just cause in all I do
I cant wait for the day,
I get to pass the torch to you...

With Love,
Mom

A beautiful gift to your child, Cynthia. Your daughter will grow quickly and before too long, she will be all smiles knowing that her Mom wrote such a sweet tribute to her. Best wishes!
