| I've been sitting here reading poetry by various people for 45 minutes now and this is the most pleasing one thus far. It's pure and uncontrived and sounds exactly like the wonder, longing and desperation of first love. You're obviously very young but you have honesty and talent. Please keep writing. |

Nice write my friend...and welcome to the den a great place to let go of many emotions and feelings as you have in this write. keep writing my friend, I wrote much at your age, but didn't share it with anyone. Many years later I decided to write seriously, my first grade students love my stories, as my own children did, but for the public to read this has only happened during the past eight years. I love it, should've done it sooner. You go girl! Your poem reflects real life feelings and desires of a teenager, that's a rough time, keep writing, I too look forward to reading more. Keep your chin up!
Blessings,

Welcome to the Den, Bailey...I'm a newer writer too and I think you'll find this a welcoming place to post your poetry...I just wish I'd had the courage and confidence to write when I was a senior in High School. I love your poem, probably because I can relate and to me, that's the sign of good poetry...allowing others a glimpse into your world so they in turn can imagine and find a piece of their own world in you. Missing someone special is the pits and believe me, it never changes!
Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading more of you.
