But what part of us, what particle of matter touches that of other loving beings and imparts our love. Certainly it is not that of the mind, for in that part dwell’s cunning, greed and fear. It must be the heart, thus we communicate with our hearts.

I would agreed, but with the mind to dwell with the heart does our thoughts come to play as one in knowing there is no boundary out of reach.. touching piece...

James,
I agree our minds are filled with cunning greed & fear, and our hearts touch with love
but the mind knows what it is doing at all times, whereas love has a mind of it's own at times

Beautiful James!
We do feel and communicate by our hearts ... and if we purify our minds, we enable mind and matter to become one: as they ultimately are. Then we are working with full God force. The Buddhists say 'mind and matter are two sides of the same coin; and mind matters most'. Therefore, it is our duty to purify our minds ... and thus operate with higher qualities of loving-kindness, trust, generosity, innocence etc...Which naturally abide within us before conditioning etc corrupts our essential selves.
Thanks for sharing this gem James!! And, a big welcome to AuthorsDen! It's Great to meet you here!
Love and Friendship, Suzie :-D
