Killing Stars

look to the sky.
to those beautiful,
burning dead.
i shot them all
out of the sky.
I heard them suffering
through their radiant splendor.

the smell of Murder
spread over the Earth
like panic!
"Leave us the Moon!"
they pray.

I could hear them
but i was too far away;
I died with the stars.

it is better to die with the stars then reflect upon the lunacy below the nimbus of the moon ....
