this is a poem I wrote that made it in a poetry book of students all over the counrty.
Tears are in my eyes,
As I remember the day we said our good-byes,
I do regret,
Giving in to my own sins.
Two different people,
Two different lives,
I can’t understand why I didn’t hide,
The smell of you on my coat still lingers,
I wish I had the rose that you gave me,
But when you left,
I cried over it,
And when I started to leave you behind,
I slid it over the flowers,
I kissed the rose,
And before I walked away,
I left it on your grave…
