You came home late and fell asleep after a hard day's work. You didn't care to kiss me goodnight, thinking I was asleep.

I rolled over on your chest and listened to your heart beat selfishly. You didn't call, I wanted to say. When I know you weren't listening.

I wanted to yell and curse knowing you will walk out under pressure. YOU ARE NOT LISTENING!

I didn't want to cry, but I did. I did cause you don't listen. You didn't care when you hit me and I suffered from the blows. I was stupid to stay with you. What's the reason I am staying, I thought. THERE IS NONE.

You didn't listen when I packed my bags that night. You didn't listen when I picked up the keys to your car. You didn't listen when I walked out the door. You didn't listen when I left you for good.
