He had a sad face,
Really needed a friend.
I almost turned away,
He had Your eyes
So I stayed and cheered him
Back to living.

Then came another,
Long hair,sunken cheeks, empty eyes,
I almost turned away, but then
He touched me, and I felt
Your gentle hands,
So I stayed, and he
Won the battle.

Then came still another,
Struggling to win over poverty
I almost turned away, but then
I saw his face,
He had Your warm and tender smile.
So I stayed, and helped him
Find a better day.

You're always there
In each and every one,
Some little part of You,
To show the magic power
That Love contains.
