This Moment

These words I speak, right here, right now, describe all that you've stirred in me.
Your eyes whisper softly to mine, an invitation to be free.

You challenge the depths of my weary self, like the haunting of vivid dreams.
Where people, places and different faces, aren't really what they seem.

Hidden by walls are secrets deep, about the truth behind my fears.
Each brick meticulously placed, over the course of broken years.

Then here you are, a breath away, and suddenly I'm caving in.
Each hurt and pain I've ever known, carried away on a blessed wind.

Your intesity from which I cannot escape, captures me naked in your gaze.
I stand here before you, all that I am, in your hands, all my pieces laid.

In fear of exposure, I tremble inside,
yet I cannot walk away.
Frozen here with eyes wide shut, the truth of my feelings on display.

You take me in with your gentle touch, just the way I need you to be.
It feels just right in this place with you, if only this moment were eternity!
