-Questions I have asked myself when both literally and figuratively lost-

LOST

Where are you now?

What have you become?

Who could you be if you didn’t succumb?

When did your direction begin to falter?

Are you fearful vertigo has left you permanently altered?

Will the summit’s shrouded pinnacle come into view?

How do you know the person on top is still you?

Is it just a projection of the darkened valley’s shadow?

Have you lost distinction between the cloudy sky and foggy meadow?

Which way do you choose to go?

A perfect description of depression. I have been there. All you have to do is keep working, writing each day, and before you know it, the sun will come out and you will see your way clearly.
