Oh, the night
The night,
Oh, the night
she’s lonely in the dark
the stars fade slowly
as dawn approaches
the moon slips out of sight
silver light upon her face
her eyes searching for love
shadows begin to whimper
The sun,
Oh, the sun
its light plays upon her hair
she’s streaked in sun beams
the sun warm upon her skin
she soaks in its power
her smile is radiant and bright
awakening love’s bloom
it lights her eyes in rapture
Desire,
Oh, desire
it’s a fire
burning in your heart
as it beats in rhythm
with her breathing
she exhales sweet air
the scent of fragrant flowers
she inhales your warm kisses
The twilight,
Oh, the twilight
it falls as shadows run
purple is the hue
as darkness becomes you
her sorrow captures solitude
pain is being alone
breaking hearts untold
dreaming of a lover to hold
The stars,
Oh, the stars
cover you softly
in a blanket of soothing
she coos and whispers
dreaming of secret loves
where she is embraced
a thousand kisses reign
longing, needing in agony
The moon,
Oh, the moon
what sweet music she makes
her silver light is gentle
she lifts you in flight
she slips out of her dress
dancing seductively her trance
she captures your heart
with her sweetness and charms
The dance,
Oh, the dance
the stars play the sky
falling in fiery flight
she falls upon you
she dances your heart
with open arms
her enchantment overwhelms
your body and soul
Her embrace,
Oh, her embrace
you shatter into pieces
as she envelopes your heart
reflecting your desire
in a sea of love
she swallows your pain
her eyes like lightning
her love like thunder
The night,
Oh, the night
midnight tolls for dreamers
who feel their souls
exude joy and sorrow
she awakes forlorn
darkness surrounds her
she’s like the stars fading
her loneliness is forever
