This is for all of the victims at Virginia Tech.

Refrain:

Virginia Tech, a bleeding heart
whose beating rounds the bend,
may this begin a brand new start
as hands of time shall mend.

(I)
For all who have away now gone,
these words of hope's reprieve
are sent to say you're not alone
though now we all will grieve.

(II)
The Father holds you in His hands
and Jesus' love is true .
This tragedy in scale is grand
but Heaven welcomes you.

(Refrain)

(III)
Virginia, were it not today
we could but state a dream;
a nightmare more this word would say
as in our hearts we scream:

(IV)
Why would a person do a thing
such as this that was done?
Who knows, but comfort Christ shall bring,
for He is God's great Son.

(Refrain)

(V)
Now as we mourn the fallen who
have loved ones left behind,
we turn our hearts and prayers to
them praying peace they'll find.

(VI)
Love and hope and God's great Gift
will see a better day.
I send this hoping yet to lift
you all up from the fray.

(Refrain)

A fitting tribute to the fallen. In God's hands they ride now.

Be safe,

My heart went out to the victims of this incident but also their loved ones and friends. You've written a lovely tribute to these innocent victims. Thanks for sharing.
