Lost

The lights go dim.
Your heart runs fast.
Doubt tempts your mind.
Your emotions tangle up.

The stars show through.
Your eyes start to sparkle.
Tears well in your eyes.
Your thoughts spin around.

The air blends to black.
Your breath begins to shorten.
Anxiety blurs your vision.
Your feelings are lost.

The darkness creeps up.
Your light is slipping away.
Regret fills your body.
Your soul sinks into the mist.
You cry.

This is a good write in itself, I wish I had some of the ones I wrote between those years but they got lost when I moved back to Illinois from Iowa. It is a very dark to see in ones mind of this.
