As Thou approaches Steady on your measured course Multitudes of eyes wait for your arrival When they see thee appear from the East Like a withered stem of a date tree A myriad of hearts are filled with Joy For Another year of life and hope Oh you blessed month of Ramadhan And when you depart at last They rejoice on the day of Feast With Praises for their Lord, The Most Gracious. ��
