Summer is almost gone, but I still can savor the taste

The senses awake and begin to tease
A glaze seems to come over the eyes

With each touching to the lips
You feel the hunger rise.

An occasional licking of the fingertips.
And sometimes a deep throated “mmmmmmm”.

Devouring and wanting more
Searching for the deepest bite.

I’ve heard that food has a sensual side
And I do believe it is true

Because there’s nothing in the world
Like good ole’ barbeque!

You start out saucy and wicked to describe a barbecue. Quite unique approach that I liked.
