If you see a seahorse.
by Julie Murphy

Tuesday, November 27, 2007
Rated "G" by the Author.

A short whimsical poem for very young children. You can do the actions with fluffy toys as you read it to your tiny tots to REALLY get them going!

If you see a seahorse

Be sure to say hello.

Just smile and say a bright ‘good day’ -

They’re most polite you know!

If you dive with dolphins

And sing their merry song,

You’ll leap and play throughout the day…

And can I tag along?

If you surf with salmon

You’ll have a lot of fun.

It’s great to twirl and dash and swirl

Until the day is done.

I am told I never grew up either, so maybe this is why I also enjoy Regis. Anyway, Julie, I enjoyed this poem, and I'll try to read it later to my grandchildren. It reminds me of when I took a cruise, the sparkling delight of the sea...Jerry

A lovely write, Julie. My kids loved this kind of "stuff" when they were little, and, since I am told that I never grew up, I love it still. Thank you. Best wishes to you,

Regis

Nicely done, Julie. I don't have any tots to sing to, but this one lightened my heart.
