the time has come....we must eliminate all of our worldly possessions and move forward as an advanced people....a people not bent on greed or lust....but bent, nonetheless!!!
we must escape from our morally and mortally tortured existence and move on to possessions of the mind and spirit....our souls must be set free.
yet who, in all humanity could we turn to for help? this need, being so deep, consumes us. government would raise too many questions....family...not really. perhaps the answer lies within
the depth of our mind and soul...a depth still unexplored by science and barely understood by humankind. how, in all this time, have we been unable to explore the one thing that we have always had?

We need to re-evaluate our priorities, that's for sure! You've written about one of my favorite subjects! Good questions raised in this well expressed poem, Erik!
